I would suggest :
1) consulting your GP before starting any fitness program
2) Getting a proper fitness shoes (for Zumba they should be non-grip shoes, similar to dancing shoes)
3) Some exercises that are recommended for knee injury recovery:
A Strengthen your quadriceps with knee exercises to reduce stiffness and prevent another injury. Sit in a chair and extend your legs, with your heels to the floor. Keep your knees as straight as possible and tighten your thigh muscles. Maintain this position for the count of 10. Relax. Repeat three times several times a day.
B Exercise your inner thigh muscle to promote knee stability. Sit in your chair and put your fists between your knees. Squeeze your knees together. Hold this position for a count of 10. Relax. Repeat ten times.. Do this exercise once a day.
C Hamstring exercises strengthen your leg muscles. Sit in your chair and place your heels flat on the floor. Pull your heels back until you feel tension in your hamstrings. Maintain this position for the count of ten. Relax. Repeat 10 times. Do this exercise once a day.
